The Nike LeBron 9 retro cycle has started off with a bang (no pun intended) with the first-ever release of the jaw-dropping “Watch The Throne” PE and the brand new “South Coast” that reimagines the vibes of Miami. Switching back to the colorway of 2012 is the “Big Bang” colorway from the All-Star collection from 2012, an unforgettable space-travel themed capsule that saw the LeBron 9, KD 4, Air Foamposite One, and Kobe 7 designed to look fit for interstellar journeys.
For its vibrant bright orange colorway, the LeBron 9 was hard to miss that year. The astronautical patches on the tongue, the glow-in-the-dark outsole, and the infamous “galaxy” print on the interior lining made this one of the best shoes of the year, and arguably the best LeBron 9 colorway to hit retail. Confirmed to return in 2022, the LeBron 9 “Big Bang” will surely sell out instantly much like the aforementioned Watch The Throne LeBrons did earlier in January.
