While not that significant of a milestone, 2022 is indeed the 25th Anniversary of the Air Max 97. Back in 2017, Nike reintroduced the silhouette to the market to much success as the 97 quickly rose into the ranks of must-have sneakers in any wardrobe. For adult men and women down to grade school sizes, the Air Max 97 continued to be one of the best selling shoes of 2021 despite minimal marketing done behind the model, clearly speaking to the life-time relevance of the sneaker.

Coming in 2022 is this Nike Air Max 97 SE in a black/off noir set-up; the upper is recrafted in premium suede, with a softer twill replacing the traditional mesh base underlay and a sleek black-on-black package. Keeping things clean is the contrasting white midsole and Air unit, finishing off a colorway that you simply can’t object to.

This Air Max 97 SE “Off Noir” should be expected to hit Nike.com and retailers soon for $180.
