With END and Salomon‘s first-ever collaboration, the two are taking the XT-Wings 2 to the Sahara desert, preparing the shoe for the Marathon Des Sables, a grueling six day footrace that takes place every year.
In name, the colorway pays homage to the “Sirocco,” a Mediterranean wind that originates in the Sahara. The palette itself, though, draws influence from the desert, as the brown tone of the mesh upper is said to emulate the sand dunes common across the landscape. Darker shades accent the side and lace unit, complementing both the aforementioned as well as the dusty, earthy finish of the sole underneath.

In other news, the Air Jordan 4 Infrared is expected to release May 12th.
