“Altitude Green” Returns Via This Kid’s Jordan 6 Rings

“Altitude Green” Returns Via This Kid’s Jordan 6 Rings

The Jordan 6 Rings is widely ridiculed by sneaker “purists” and “gatekeepers,” but it continues to deliver compelling colorways to the masses that appreciate its hybrid design. For its latest ensemble, the sneaker has indulged in a simple “Black” and “White” color palette complete with “Altitude Green”-reminiscent flair.

Constructed with elements directly borrowed from the six Air Jordan sneakers in which #23 won six NBA championship rings, the model has historically nodded to its muses via heritage-driven styles. Having recently appeared in an Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs”-like outfit, the 6 Rings has seemingly revisited 2005’s “Altitude Green” retro as it features a vibrant green tone around the collar and across the outsole. The remainder of the makeup maintains a fairly recognizable two-tone execution, although closer inspection reveals the replacement of patent leather at the mudguards for a non-glossy canvas material. Panels along the tongue also boast a non-standard mesh build, which suggests the sneakers have summer in mind.

Enjoy official images of the kid’s pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. banner, the Nike Air Max 97 celebrates its 25th anniversary throughout 2022.
