Nike Blesses Team USA With A Special ACG Air Moc 3.5

Nike Blesses Team USA With A Special ACG Air Moc 3.5

With the Winter Olympics in Beijing officially underway, Nike has prepared some exciting footwear for its athletes to wear in-between their events. While we’ve already seen the Gaiadome Boot, Nike has confirmed that those will never be available to the public at retail. However, some other winter-themed gear is in the works, like this all-new ACG Air Moc 3.5 from the ACG umbrella.

Although designated as a mere .5 upgrade from the Air Moc 3.0, the 3.5 sees some swift upgrades. While the shape of the sole remains, it is constructed in the recycled Crater Foam to fit the brand’s Move To Zero movement. The upper features an quilted padding in a warped grid pattern, while the heel presents a bit of an elastic feel to hug the foot. This debut release features Team USA embellishments on the tongue pull-tab and on the insole, while the chilly colorway of arctic blue matches the wintry themes of the events.

A release date for the Air Moc 3.5 “Team USA” hasn’t been revealed just yet, but hopefully it’s set to drop before the Games are scheduled to end on February 20th.
