Jovani Hernandez Initially teased all the way back in August 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Dark Marina Blue” (now that’s a mouthful) is finally arriving stateside on February 16th.
Set to arrive in adult and kids’ sizing, the retro shares some similarity to the Air Jordan 1‘s original “Royal” colorway from 1985, but it’s unapologetically its own style. “Black” smooth, synthetic leather sets the stage for a rich, deep blue tone that overtakes most overlays around the forefoot, at the mid-foot and across the heel. “Wings” insignias on the lateral ankle flap revert to the darkest of the two colors, while “NIKE AIR”-branded labels on the tongue opt for “Dark Marina Blue” flair. Lastly, made-for-basketball sole units round out the predominantly dark color scheme with a contrasting “White” look that matches the additional set of laces included with the shoes.
