The Nike Air Max 90 isn’t celebrating an individual milestone throughout 2022, but it is helping the Swoosh celebrate 35 years of the revolutionary visible Air technology it features. Ahead of springtime and March 26th’s expected Air Max Day event campaign, Tinker Hatfield’s ever-popular design has emerged in mismatched animal prints.
Set to accompany a Nike Dunk Low, the newly-surfaced pair delivers a mix of colors, materials and patterns across its entire upper. Reminiscent of past “Safari” collaborations by atmos, the offering – a women’s-exclusive – dons the spotted print at the vamp and medial forefoot. Aqua tones, then, come together with rich red, purple and yellow, while leopard and other animal’s “fur” mark their own territory at the lateral profile and spine, respectively. The iconic Air Max model’s sole unit underfoot doesn’t opt for a muted ensemble, but it forgoes all of the wild styling found up-top, allowing the mismatched, colorful arrangement to command the spotlight.
Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate pairs to arrive at select shops on March 3rd.
