As the world of design and NFTs continues to merge, Division Street-founded by Phil Knight and other University of Oregon supporters-has called upon the most significant artist in sneaker history to help with the launch of Ducks Of A Feather, an NFT platform created to empower University of Oregon student-athletes and connect them to fans, boosters and collectors. Ducks Of A Feather is prepared to offer its first collection called “Flying Formations”, a 120-piece NFT collection serialized by legendary Oregon alum Tinker Hatfield and based on the Oregon Duck.

To further sweeten these virtual acquisitions, each of the 120 NFT owners will receive a pair of the extremely limited Nike Air Max 1 designed by Tinker Hatfield. These limited issues featured a full green upper in various shades, with Swoosh logos decorated in colored ribbos. Each pair also features a tongue logo that represents the NFT. As you know, Tinker was the original architect behind this running shoe back in 1987, so having him create this specific iteration makes its only sweeter for sneaker fans.

Tinker Hatfield will be doing a Q&A at 8pm ET on the Ducks Of A Feather Discord channel here, so tune in to learn more about this special sneaker.

Updated May 18th, 2022: This past Sunday (5/15), Ducks of a Feather began the sneaker redemption process for the owners of the Flying Formations NFT collection and each owner can now redeem the personally autographed and serialized pair of Air Max 1s. We’ve updated photos of Tinker Hatfield autographing each of the shoes.
