Having debuted on December 29th, 2018, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2 “Static” has become one of the most-coveted propositions from the mind of the being formerly known as “Kanye West.” On March 5th, the grey and white sneaker returns for the first time ever.
Although the Yeezy 700’s sequel helped garner attention for Ye’s adidas-backed empire, it’s received less releases than other silhouettes in the roster. The inaugural 700 v2 kept its predecessor’s general shape, but added a sportier look to the chunky sole unit that’s helped Yeezy become a pivotal player in the unshakeable “dad shoe” trend. Leather overlays closest to the all-white midsole keep things simple, while the mesh base and panels found across the toe, along the tongue and at the top of the heel deviate in varying shades of grey. Together, the aforementioned components helped create one of the most versatile Yeezy releases up to that point, while continuing to develop the former-“Mr. West”‘s vision of the future’s footwear. Unlike its successor, the Yeezy 700 v2 boasts Boost foam cushioning, which is largely responsible for the steep price tag.

Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, a yellow Bad Bunny Response CL has recently been unveiled.
