Cross Stitched Branding Adorns This All-Pink Nike Air Force 1

It’s not uncommon to see Nike incorporate a handcrafted, DIY element in their shoes — the recently unveiled Air Max 1 “WABISABI” is already proof of that. And with this upcoming Air Force 1, a silhouette currently celebrating its 40th year, the brand is further showing off their creative side.

Dressed near entirely in pink, the colorway mixes familiar materials with more uncommon ones. Along the toe, heel, and eye stays, the pair makes use of a typical smooth leather, whose pink sits just a few shades lighter than the that of the Swoosh and heel tab. Similar tones mark the tongue, whose construction is rather standard much like the aforementioned. The same cannot be said for the mid-panel, however, as its weave complements the new cross stitched branding that darns the rear.

For a look at the Air Force 1’s craft side, see the official images below. These should be hitting Nike.com and select retailers soon, so sit tight for further updates.

In other news, the Oski Nike SB Dunk High is making its way to stores very soon.
