Sneaker News The New Balance 550 has a struck a chord with female sneakerheads over the last two years, sitting right next to the Nike Dunk as the most wanted sneakers on the market. Both brands have noticed as those silhouettes have been offered in plenty of women’s exclusive sizes, but New Balance has indeed lagged behind a bit in terms of creating releases in softer palettes.
Whether or not women actually want more “lady-like” tones remains to be seen, but on March 15th, New Balance Europe will launch an “Au Lait” colorway of the 440 that sees shades of off-white and tan that mimic the hues of coffee with milk. These cream shades do exude a bit of that coveted “ALD” look, doesn’t it?
Currently, a US release date is not yet known, but New Balance Europe has these scheduled to drop on Tuesday, March 15th at 10am local time for £100.00.
