Sneaker News The Nike Sportswear team that focuses on the Air Force 1 is delivering yet another new take on the classic ’82 model for its 40th Anniversary. While these may appear like your standard pair of Forces, with the clean tumbled leather upper construction and solid white outsole, a closer inspection reveals a bit of ingenuity when it comes to forming the famed logo on the model.
The Swoosh is shaped not via a leather overlay seen in standard models, but rather via a negative as the mid-panel and heel sections are cut out to give the appearance of the logo. This occurs on both the lateral and medial side, with a white base layer laid underneath.
A release date is not yet known, but we predict more colorways of this style to emerge in 2022.
