South Park Uses The adidas NMD R1 v2 To Celebrate Professor Chaos, Butters’ Supervillain Alter Ego

South Park Uses The adidas NMD R1 v2 To Celebrate Professor Chaos, Butters’ Supervillain Alter Ego

Last year, South Park and adidas teamed up for what was arguably some of the best releases of 2021. And now the two are coming together in a bigger way, celebrating even more of the series’ many iconic moments and characters.

Professor Chaos, Butters’ supervillain alter ego, is the latest to take the stage, dressing up the NMD R1 v2 in his tin foil constructed costume. Said household essential wraps quite a bit of the exterior, seen along the eye stays, stripes, and heel. A matching finish is applied to the BOOST as well as the chiseled mold that wraps the sole part-way. Elsewhere, the bright blue weave of the upper, the yellow finish of the laces, and red dot along the tongue are further nods to the wannabe mastermind, mirroring his torso, hair, and helmet, respectively.

For a closer look at this Professor Chaos inspired NMD R1 v2, take a look below. These should be on schedule for a March 21st release at select retailers and adidas.com.
