First Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Concord”

First Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Concord”

Unveiled many months prior by respected sneaker leakers, the Air Jordan 5 “Concord” is currently slated to drop this Summer, joining both the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” and Air Jordan 1 “Chicago.” And whereas these are OG colorways, the “Concord” is much less familiar, though it does borrow design cues from beloved classics.

Though said to be inspired by the Air Jordan 11 “Concord,” the upcoming release essentially blends “Grape” with the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red,” the latter of which clearly inspires the pair’s color blocking. Only the red is swapped out for the titular purple, whose darker shade is found along the midsole spikes, lining, and Jumpman logos. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction is copied near bar for bar, with icy blues bottoms, black midsoles, and white leathers across the upper. Even the silver reflective tongue is intact, standing behind the silhouette’s signature lace toggle.

For a first, in-hand look at the Air Jordan 5 “Concord,” see below. A release date is currently expected July 23rd.
