While no longer celebrating a milestone anniversary, the Nike Air Max 95 has been delivering compelling, non-original styles in the first three months of 2022. Recently, Sergio Lozano’s iconic design emerged in a summer-ready, “Lemon/Lime” theme.
At a glance, the running model seems part of the same collection as a previously-seen kid’s Nike Dunk High, but closer inspection reveals distinct details. “Colorless” leather and mesh appear throughout the upper, but the titular citrus tones interrupt the uniform arrangement via the two center vamp overlays: vibrant yellow sits right above rich green. Lace loops are accented by the latter hue, while “airmax” logos on the top of the tongue indulge in the “lemon/lime” combination; sock-liners couples traditional “NIKE AIR” branding with graphics of sliced lemons and limes. Underfoot, Air Max units deviate in a punchy orange, with surrounding components reverting to simple white, black and thematic yellow.
No official release details for the shoes have been disclosed, but that’s likely to change as summer inches closer. While you wait for a Nike SNKRS launch, enjoy images of the pair ahead.
