When it was revealed months prior, the Air Jordan 1 Low Elevate — which was previously believed to be called the LV8D — relied heavily on familiar colorways, such as the “Bred” and “Wolf Grey.” But for its newest set of releases, the silhouette is slowly introducing more non-original make-ups, such as this upcoming yellow-on-grey option.
The sole, as is typical of the model, proffers a platform-sized midsole that’s stabilized by an equally tall outsole. Highlighted in a bright yellow, the latter matches the leather panels across the upper as well as the lining and laces adjacent. A neutral grey, then, dresses underneath, coloring in the toe box, mid-panel, and tongue. As for the branding itself, the Jumpman has taken a more minimal approach, as they’ve only stamped the shoe’s heel with the Wings logo’s outline.
