Official Images Of The Nike Air Max 1 “Light Madder Root”

The Nike Air Max 1 was the focal point of Air Max Day 2022. And while the three region-exclusives that launched for the fictional March 26th holiday were special, they were far from the only styles the Swoosh prepped for the silhouette’s 35th anniversary.

Recently, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design emerged in a “Light Madder Root/Vivid Green/Rattan” colorway ostensibly part of a larger collection. Akin to a previously-seen “Skunk”-appropriate style, the upcoming pair features a grid-like print on the sock-liners, as well as an off-white and brown sole unit. Air Max bubbles deviate in a faint lime color, which matches branding on the tongue label and insoles. Mesh base layers visible via the toe box and underneath the collar opt for a muted “Rattan” color that delivers stark contrast to the suede material wrapped around the mid-foot. Together, each color further propels the Air Max 1‘s legacy into the next 35 years.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch before summer ends.
