The Nike Air More Uptempo Shoots For A “Royal” Colorway

The Nike Air More Uptempo Shoots For A “Royal” Colorway

Black and Red is closely tied to Black and Royal much in part due to the original colorways of the Air Jordan 1. The Air More Uptempo shares that connection due to Scottie Pippen’s time with the Bulls alongside Michael Jordan, so maybe that’s why this new colorway of the Air More Uptempo looks very natural.

Arriving via official images is a simple take on the 1996 classic as the Nike Uptempos see a full black leather upper with a royal blue trim via the big AIR outline on the upper. Dark grey accents appear via the Swoosh branding on the toe, the outsole, as well as the jeweled Swoosh at the heel. These are in great contrast to the vivid, artful Uptempo “Multi-color” that has recently surfaced, but for those who prefer simpler, these are certainly better.

You can expect these on Nike.com and partnering retailers soon for $160.
