Sneaker News The name of Nina Chanel Abney is about to reach household status now that her project with Jordan Brand has been revealed. Introducing a reductive interpretation of the Air Jordan 2, the pop-surrealist artist gently crafted the upper of the shoes without compromising too much of its DNA, all while injected her own spin. It now appears that an Air Jordan 2 Low is in the works, as revealed here through leaked images.
Much like the high-top, her Air Jordan 2 Low features a deconstructed approach, but with a hunter green exterior heel and outsole. The familiar snakeskin textured exterior sits beneath the heel, while a smooth flat leather covers to he toe. A suede toe-guard completes the overall look.
Release details aren’t known just yet, but we expect further details as well as an official brand announcement soon.
