Scales Cover The Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 “White Python”

Often times, Nike’s use of snakeskin is rather gaudy, accompanied by colors even more bold than the texture itself. But here, with the upcoming Air Force 1 “White Python,” the brand is toning things down, giving the material a more premium feel.

Even the sole and leather base impart a sense of luxury, delivering a subtle “Sail” finish and tasteful tumbling, respectively. Grey, then, sits along both the outsole and tread, lightly contrasting the whites the upper employs. And though this neutral is typically lackluster, the scales create a sense of dimension, mimicking crocodiles via the eye stays and pythons the overlays adjacent.

For a closer look at this reptile-inspired Air Force 1, peep the official images below. Sizes should hit select retailers as well as Nike.com soon, so sit tight for further updates.

In other news, official images of the Kobe 6 Protro Mambacita have surfaced.
