Michael Le Though often likened to sacai’s LDWaffle, the Nike Waffle One offers a more diverse range of colorways. And while it’s most recently donned a series of pastels, the shoe will soon bring out a dark yet relatively colorful look.
Besides the leather overlays and midsole — which opt for black and white, respectively — the construction leans heavily on brighter colors. The Swoosh, for starters, is brushed with a hot pink, whose shade is just as bright as the yellow used for the laces and heel cup. Moreover, the outsole tones things down just a bit, as its green is comparatively muted; this is also true of the violet that paints the mesh upper and tongue.
