Sneaker News Get ready for an upswing of Air Max 97 colorways because Nike has big things planned for the silhouette for the second half of 2022. A shoe as significant as the 97 deserves the heavy attention, and the recent influx of GR colorways tells us that Nike has recognized just how important it is to shoe culture.
While we still await the possibility of collaborations, the Air Max 97 makes yet another appearance in its beloved OG construction. The upper mudguard sees a flat white leather accented by bright blue and pink tracks, while a bright volt neon adds the electric accent via the Swoosh border and the full-length Air Max unit. The white/black contrast on the outsole is a clear nod to the OG Silver Bullet 97s (a shoe that’s supposed to drop this Fall 2022 season).
