Jovani Hernandez Billionaire Boys Club and Reebok have been producing collaborative footwear for ages. For the next chapter of their long-standing partnership, the two institutions have reimagined the Zig Kinectia II with a digi-camo makeover.
Akin to some of the duo’s past joint-efforts, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in an eye-catching all-over pattern throughout its upper. Vibrant pink and yellow seen on past releases, however, are replaced with military garb-appropriate green, black and desert tones, which land on the sneaker’s mesh base. Tactical lace loops appear along the tongue, with BBC branding landing on the pull tab accompanying the tongue; the streetwear label’s astronaut helmet logo is stamped onto the medial profile. Underfoot, the widely-lauded Zig cushioning doubles-down on the sandy hues that compliment the digi-camo print up-top. Performance-informed tread opt for a fan-favorite light gum brown color that further taps into the shoes’ tactical inspiration.
