The Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 isn’t an entirely new silhouette, but the trail-inspired iteration of Christian Tresser’s 25-year-old design delivers a breath of fresh air to the Swoosh’s 1990s lineup.

Informed by sustainability, the upcoming pair indulges in a mix of non-standard, seemingly random materials across its upper and sole unit. Midsole and tread components are constructed from Nike Grind, a compound crafted from up-cycled manufacturing floor scraps. The Air Max proposition couples its traditional mesh base layer with more robust canvas throughout the profiles and tongue. Terrascape-specific branding lands all throughout the shoe, with lateral heel swooshes opting for a larger presentation.
