“Ishod Wair” may not be the most recognizable name in sneakers, but it holds weight within the world of skateboarding. Thus, Nike SB‘s decision to give him his own signature state shoe – aptly named the Ishod – makes perfect sense.
Recently, the SB Ishod took a break from the muted ensembles in favor of a gradient green look reminiscent of the Statue of Liberty. Suede makes up most of the pair’s upper, with leather, mesh and other materials making sparse appearances throughout. The most vibrant shade of green lands across the forefoot, while panels around the heel indulge in a less-prominent shade of the titular tone, creating a gradient-like effect. Reinforced Nike React midsoles revert to a rich green hue, seemingly donning a “spray painted” finish given the gaps in paint and dotted aesthetic throughout the sole unit. Lastly, herringbone-patterned tread rounds out the pair in an all-white look.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
