Jovani Hernandez Over the past decade, the Air Jordan 11 has become the most-anticipated sneaker of the year’s holiday season. While yet to be confirmed by Team Jumpman, the upcoming end-of-year release is expected to be a “Cherry” take on Michael Jordan’s 11th signature sneaker.
Clad in white and red colors, the upcoming shoe deviates from the design’s original roster of colorways for an ensemble that’s refreshing, yet rooted in heritage. Patent leather mudguards indulge in the Jordans‘ most eye-catching hue, as do several other components across the upper. Leather and nylon construction at the base layer and other accompanying panels deviate in a “colorless” look that allows for the pair’s “Cherry” flair to pop that much more. Underfoot, outsoles introduce a semi-translucent, icy blue finish to the mix, which promises to keep the holiday-ready Jordan 11 rocking clean – not yellowed – tread for years to come.
Official images of the pair haven’t surfaced yet, but Instagram user @knowing_kicks has recently delivered an on-foot look at the retro. Enjoy a gallery of photos ahead, as you wait for firm Nike SNKRS launch details as December 10th inches closer.
