As part of the Nike Air Max 1‘s 35th anniversary, the Swoosh has been reinventing Tinker Hatfield’s 1987-design in a handful refreshing ensembles.

Months after the silhouette’s region-exclusive styles for Air Max Day, the original visible Air-cushioned proposition has returned in a “Light Madder Root,” “Vivid Green” and “Rattan” mix of colors. Profile swooshes and Air Max bubbles underfoot indulge in Nike Running-informed green flair, while mesh base layers deviate in a light tan. Suede overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel finish off the Air Max 1‘s modern-day update.
