Michael Le Back in November of 2021, official images of a blacked-out Pharrell x adidas Humanrace Sichona boiled to the surface. And while originally expected to release not long after, the year came and went without so much as a release date. That’s no longer the case, however, as the brand is now reporting a May 21st drop.
This colorway, relative to its predecessors, is a stark departure, opting out of the bright, tonal looks that the yellow, burgundy, and green iterations employed. In the place of these, a dark Core Black dresses the knit upper, midsole, and laces, providing the shoe a fresh look to start off the year. Elsewhere, not all is color-bereft: aside from the greyed tongue label, an additional set of blue strings are included and the side features a Semi Solar Pink version of the “Humanrace” text with Vivid Green accents.
