Michael Le The Air Jordan 3 is having quite the year, with its “Fire Red” colorway soon to return later this Fall. Spring 2023, too, has a couple exciting offerings in store: both the “Reimagined” as well as the yet-to-be-revealed “Mars.” And in between — during October, specifically — we can expect to see the shoe in a Winterized, “Archaeo Brown” setup.
True to its namesake, the shoe features the above-mentioned brown across the majority of its upper. The adjacent accents, then, alternate between “Dark Smoke Grey,” “Fossil Stone,” “Light Bordeaux,” and “Cement Grey,” creating a palette much more diverse than past winterized options. Materials, however, are surely just as robust: premium nubucks build out the majority of the construction, the collar’s leathers are replaced for a thick mesh, and the toe cap and heel counter are reinforced in a way reminiscent of Sashiko stitching.
