The Jordan Series Joins Jayson Tatum’s “Taco Jay” Platter

The Jordan Series Joins Jayson Tatum’s “Taco Jay” Platter

Despite recently facing criticism for a poor performance in Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals, Jayson Tatum is a future face of the league and Jordan Brand.

The Missouri-native has enjoyed his fair share of Air Jordan exclusives before, with a recent Jordan Series offering further expanding the Boston Celtic’s roster of Jumpman-branded collaborations. Inspired by past pairs Tatum has worn on court, the latest Jordan Series dons “Taxo Jay” graphics and branding across the sock-liner and tongue labels. Remaining components keep things simple — relative to past taco-inspired footwear — in mostly white and black styling. Details around the tongue borrow their color palette from the lettuce-filled, hard shell tacos the small forward enjoys, while “JT” logos at the heel round out the playful shoes.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, as you wait to try your luck via Nike.com on Friday, June 17th, for $80 USD.
