Jovani Hernandez The adidas Yeezy Foam Runner has been ridiculed before it even launched at retail. Yet. The slip-on shoe by the former “Kanye West” continues being one of the most-coveted on the market.
While some netizens are already calling for a second version of the shoe, the laceless Yeezys continue to expand their design catalog, with a straightforward “Desert Sand” colorway arriving for the whole family on Saturday, June 11th. Rather reminiscent of “Ochre” ensembles that’ve taken over not only the porous pair but also ever-memeable Yeezy Slides, the upcoming shoes don’t reinvent the wheel, opting for a tonal light brown hue across its upper and sole unit. No paint streaks or marbling effect are found on the next Ye-backed offering, delivering a versatile product likely to capture the masses. More experimental takes are sure to return before the year ends, however.
Enjoy a look at official images of Adult, Kids and Toddler pairs ahead, as you wait to try your luck via YEEZY SUPPLY and select shops on June 11th. Pricing is $90 USD, $65 USD and $45 USD, respectively.
Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, the adidas Gazelle is having a moment.
