Although models like the Air Jordan 36 Low aren’t widely thought of having lifestyle capability, NIKE, Inc. continues to outfit the modern-day basketball shoe in ensembles now associated with casual retros.
Recently, the Eclipse Plate-featuring proposition emerged in a compelling “Black” and “Metallic Gold” colorway reminiscent of the Air Jordan 6 included in the “Defining Moments” Pack (DMP) from 2006. A series of two-pair releases meant to commemorate pivotal performances in Michael Jordan’s career, the DMP delivered an NBA championship-worthy color palette, which takes over the low-top Jordan 36 ahead of the 2022 NBA Finals. Shimmering details animate Jumpman logos, branding on the lace toggle and text at the spine, with the biggest application landing across the “White”-colored midsole. Lastly, herringbone-patterned traction underfoot opts for a semi-translucent, icy blue finish.
The two-tone style is set to hit Nike.com on Thursday, June 23rd, for $165 USD. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
