Zion Williamson was out of commission throughout much of the 2021-22 NBA season, with fans and teammates eagerly awaiting his full recovery. And it seems both will soon see their wish come true, as the athlete is expected to rejoin the Pelicans for 2022-2023, likely doing so in the Jordan Zion 2, whose “Prism” colorway was just revealed via official images.
Pictured here in its GS size, the “Prism” is a blend of both bold and simple elements. White neutrals dress much of the forefoot, for example, coloring the fastener, mesh inserts, and the surrounding leather fixtures. The midsole, too, follows suit, albeit only up to the heel, where a multi-color graphic begins to wrap up towards the collar, displaying a series of technicolor fractals throughout. Zion branding is then stamped across the tongue and sockliner, complementing the subtle debossing at the front of the sole, while “AIR” and the Jumpman logo mark the strap and counter, respectively.
