UPDATE 6/10/2022
The Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose is sold out, but will restock in August.

Tom Sachs has never quite done what’s expected of him. And with his newest collaboration with Nike, the New York-based artist further proves this point, creating an “Ordinary Shoe for Extraordinary People.”

Dubbed the General Purpose Shoe (GPS), the silhouette boasts an understated construction that features a number of subtle yet intentional design decisions. From the slight upturn of the toe to the microfiber material around the collar, every part of the GPS is made with purpose, culminating in a shoe that Sachs would call a “tool for everyday life.” And before we see a number of additional color schemes, we’ll first have to get our hands on the “Studio,” which boasts a gum rubber sole and a blue-accented, white-dominant palette across its upper.

For another look at Tom Sachs’ debut GPS, see below. These are landing tomorrow exclusively on nikecraft.com at an affordable retail price of $109.99 USD.
