In today’s day and age, the game of basketball is basically position-less. Seven footers reign down trey balls from 30 plus feet while 6’5 guards take you down to the block for some midrange work. When it came time for New Balance to cook up their latest piece of basketball technology, they mirrored the same sentiment with the New Balance TWO WXY V2.
The second edition in the TWO WXY line, the “Marigold Blue” V2 utilizes Kinetic Stitch construction throughout the synthetic upper for a lock-down feel that adapts with each miniscule movement. For players without a position, the mid-top model incorporates an artistically scrawled mid-collar for ankle stability while inserting NB’s beloved FuelCell foam that propels you in whatever direction you see fit. Mismatched bold orange and light blue TWO WXY logos appear on the tongue above black dotted white laces while the color scheme provides an artistic take on an otherwise modest white colorway.
You might’ve seen Dejounte Murray grace the white/black/marigold colorway back in February when the Spurs guard tossed on the unreleased pair for All-Star practice. Initially given a Spring release, the New Balance TWO WXY V2 is available now via the links below.
