A Split-Colored Design Outfits The Newest Nike Air Force 1 “Anniversary Edition”

The Nike Air Force 1‘s last “Anniversary Edition” colorway was an exercise in luxury, as the brand tested out a number of premium materials atop a “Triple Black” palette. And the same ensues with the next, though this pair — alongside moving the gilded, music-inspired insignia to the heel — incorporates a more unique, split-colored design.

Rather than split the shoe down the center, this Air Force 1 opts to splice itself at an angle, sectioning off part of the toe and medial. This portion is highlighted in a bright white shade, and built of a smooth leather that directly contrasts the black paneling’s tumbled and croc-like textures. Gold dubraes and eyelets sit adjacent, rounding out the construction alongside the matching branding at the heel, tongue, and mic-printed sockliner.

For a closer look at this upcoming AF1, see the official images below. A release is likely to hit Nike.com and select retailers very soon, so sit tight.
