The Converse Sponge Crater Set To Arrive In “Natural”

The Converse Sponge Crater Set To Arrive In “Natural”

After appearing initially as a collaboration with Samuel Ross’ *A-COLD-WALL label, Converse is now ready to provide the Sponge Crater CX in a number of in-line colorways. Starting off later this July is a “Natural” hue the monochromatic fashion.

The interior stretch-knit bootie is woven via this sail-like hue of off-white blending in seamlessly with the Crater Foam one-piece exoskeleton. However, these are not entirely monotone as the bits of Grind rubber embedded into the recycled foam material apply a contrasting take on the slip-on shoe. Converse branding appears on the pull-tab at the mid-foot, while the brand’s iconic Star is emblemed onto the heel pull-tab.

A release date is currently unknown, but these will be available soon on Converse.com for $110.
