Air Max 1 fanatics have had a breadth of releases to choose from in 2022 as the brand continues the 35th Anniversary hoopla around the original Air Max shoe. Collaborations from the likes of Concepts and Kasina and in-line models in Light Madder Root have kept the energy alive and well, but there’s a batch of upcoming releases that belong in the top squad.
This first look at women’s Air Max 1 comes in a mix of obsidian, midnight navy, and gorge green above a classic white midsole and gum bottom combination. The upper is built with a pleasantly standard mix of suedes, leather, and mesh, while varsity jacket patchwork appears via the NIKE lettering at the heel and the forefoot Swoosh logo.
More colorways in this style are likely to release in other school-based colorways, so stay tuned as this story develops.
