Sneaker News The upcoming Air Jordan 7 “Afrobeats”, one of several drops for Jordan Fall 2022, reconnects with original inspiration for the Air Jordan 7 design in which Tinker Hatfield looked to traditional patterns and colors of Africa.
First leaked by Jordan source @zsneakerheadz, this upcoming release sports a colorway of Vachetta Tan/Black/Taxi/Dark Concord. The Afrobeats Jordan 7 includes a white/black pattern on the plush tongue, while unique detailing appears embossed on the exterior at the fore-foot and the heel leather. The midsole appears in solid black with Dark Concord and Taxi Yellow accents on the peaks as well as on the traction pattern. The most puzzling of details is the Nike Air logo on the heel — the first such logo treatment ever on the Air Jordan 7.
Currently, a release date is not yet known for this model, although a drop is expected sometime in October 2022.
