Despite it being most often associated with retro releases, the Air Jordan series continues to be a basketball-focused one.
Ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season, Michael Jordan’s eponymous signature sneaker line has unveiled the latest chapter in the most successful athlete-specific line of footwear of all-time: the Air Jordan 37. Partly inspired by the Air Jordan 7, which has been celebrating its 30th anniversary throughout the year, the silhouette maintains a similar shape to the last few pairs from #23’s roster. A full-length Zoom Air strobel makes up the entirety of the footbed, allowing for maximum enjoyment of the solution’s responsiveness, while Formula 23 foam and West African woven basket-like construction up-top also inject industry-leading capabilities to the Jordan 37. Now that Luka Dončić has his own signature shoe and Jayson Tatum is rumored to get his own in the near future, it’s uncertain who will be the poster athlete for the model, but what’s near-guaranteed is that the latest from Brand Jordan (launching in “Light Bone”) builds atop the greatest basketball sneaker legacy of all-time.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipte a Nike.com debut on Thursday, July 28th.
