Dunks and Air Force 1s have the attention of the mainstream, but there’s another 1980s basketball model that belongs in that “Mount Rushmore” of Nike Basketball icons. The Nike Terminator High, originally dropping in 1985, was one of the original “Be True” sneakers; later in 2022 it’ll make its presence known in a slew of original colorways.
Seen here via official images is the Georgetown coloway of navy blue and light grey, a college color combo that is still as striking decades letter. The same soft leather used in the Dunk Retro drops seems to be used for this model, with the shape and silhouette staying true to the OG. The big NIKE banner on the heel, easily the Terminator’s most definitive detail, remains untouched and unaltered.
There were indications that the Terminator High was set to return based on a collaborations by COMME des GARÇONS; that capsule also featured the iconic Georgetown look alongside two other college colors.
A set of official images is just below; see the photos and stay tuned for release details.
