Back in the Fall of last year, Stone Island officially joined the New Balance family, collaborating with the footwear brand’s esteemed Tokyo Design Studio. Together, the two developed the FuelCell RC Elite V2, which has since appeared in four different styles. And following just about a month after its last appearance, the silhouette has surfaced in what is effectively its first inline colorway.
Here, the TDS design is outfitted in a relatively familiar colorway, with New Balance’s signature shade of grey dressing the jagged edge of the suede heel, eye stays, and toe. White and blue threads, however, weave the underlying mesh base, which serves as the background for the enlarged NB logo. Adjacent, light creams round out the palette by way of the “N” across the side as well as the lining, collar, and laces.
Sat atop a black-on-white sole unit, this RC ELITE V2 is slated to hit NewBalance.com on August 6th at a retail of $220 USD.
In other news, Yeezy Day 2022 is tomorrow.
