Jared Ebanks With Bad Bunny’s upcoming adidas Forum Buckle collaboration receiving plenty of acclaim, Reebok is additionally finding inspiration amongst the global rap scene, tapping Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA for a collection gracing both the Pump Omni Zone II and Classic Leather models.
“The Sky Above The Street” capsule seizes the atmosphere of the colorfully sun-faded neighborhoods and outdoor courts within the multi-platinum artist’s community. A dominant black majority takes form over both of the models uppers while a gradient of orange and purple emanates underneath the leather overlays transitioning into a bright red vamp. The latter silhouette opts for similar shading amidst the quarter beneath the primary colored cage which tone is mirrored on the collar lining and puffed up “PUMP” tongue branding.
Slight nods to the rapper are scattered throughout, featuring an ermine tail design directly inspired by the flag of his hometown Carolina, the name of his debut album and ANUEL’s staple namesake logo.
