Official Images Of The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lakers Alternate”

Over the course of the past few years, Nike has paid many an homage to the LA Lakers, applying the team’s signature colors to their greatest classics. And following the appearance of spirited Air Jordan 1 Lows and Mids, the Swoosh is dressing up the Air Force 1 in a new “Lakers Alternate” colorway.

Purple and Gold, a color combination that has since become synonymous with the Lakers, runs throughout the entire construction. For starters, the Swoosh flaunts said gilded shade, matching that of the branding along the sockliner, tongue, and heel. An additional instance wraps around the back of the midsole, whose white finish is accented with black stitching and a vivid purple outsole. The latter complements a few of the details above — i.e. heel tab, lining, tongue label — while the rest of the construction indulges almost entirely in a black tumbled leather.

For official images of the Air Force 1 “Lakers Alternate,” which just surfaced in GS sizes, see below. At the time of writing this, a release date has not been revealed; more information is sure to surface soon, however, so sit tight.

In other news, the Air Max 1 Dirty Denim is releasing tomorrow.
