“University Blue” Helps Introduce The Jordan Granville Pro Lifestyle Sneaker

“University Blue” Helps Introduce The Jordan Granville Pro Lifestyle Sneaker

Brand Jordan may be paid attention to for its Air Jordan retros, but the last two decades have seen the most successful athletic-specific label of all-time cement itself within the lifestyle and non-basketball space. The Jordan Granville Pro is the latest example of this achievement.

Reminiscent of Nike Running designs from the 1970s, the upcoming sneaker from the 23 Engineered line features a low-cut trim and straightforward shape across its upper and sole unit. Breathable mesh couples with durable suede panels and fuse strips to create a comfortable, but lasting ride. Components indulge in a mostly-muted mix of tones like the Granville Pro’s debut “Rattan” style, but “University Blue” and “Obsidian”-like contrast appear throughout the toe, tongue and spine for a heritage-inspired outfit (Michael Jordan attended the University of North Carolina). Underfoot, the jewel swoosh-donning shoe boasts full-length Formula 23 cushioning like the Jordan Luka 1 and tread similar to the waffle-patterned solutions the Swoosh used to make a name for itself decades ago.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
