The New Balance 90/60’s Suede Panels Get Doused In “Natural Indigo”

New Balance’s 99X Classics Collection has housed a wide range of modernized racing silhouettes dating back to the Boston-brands inception and groundbreaking 990 model. Injected with the DNA of their long standing history, the brand newest redesigned and revamped model continues to expand its roster dawning staple premium pig suede overlays.

Featuring a 991-inspired tongue construction and 860-influenced diamond patterned outsole, the full breadth of New Balance’s heritage is drawn upon for the New Balance 90/60’s latest proposition in a “Natural Indigo” scheme. Initially introduced as a part of Joe Freshgood’s “Inside Voices” collaboration with the brand, the dominant navy construction is lightened by way of “Calm Taupe” mesh and a matching dual-density midsole that transitions into a latter shadow grey. The model further harkens a greyscale offering through a darkened semi-translucent heel clip, leather back tab and forefoot panels. Underfoot a split pod tread is treated in charcoal, disparate from its clean cream laces up top.
