Just a few months remain before the end of 2022, making a sequel to the Nike Vapormax Flyknit from 2021 highly unlikely. As we await for the announcement of the bubble-soled runners successor, The Swoosh continues to delve out its already lengthy roster of GR colorways. Pictured here in men’s sizing, the latest offering of the Vapormax Flyknit 2021 borrows the blue hued color palette of Villanova University.

A deep navy tone takes hold of a majority of the models staple Flyknit, filling the mudguard and darker shaded one-piece ankle collar and tongue while titular baby blue accents poke through the stitched construction of the upper and eyelet locks. Black medial Swooshes render an embroidered white trim while the brighter aesthetic picks up once again along the tongue and heels light grey pull tabs and semi-translucent heel counter. Speckles of recycled content can additionally be found throughout, filling the sky blue tread pads while the see through full-length Air Max bag concludes the ocean blue proposition.

Enjoy official images of the Nike Vapormax Flyknit 2021 “Blue/Grey” below while we anticipate a release date for men’s and GS sizes within the following weeks.

For more under The Swooshes umbrella, a “Triple Black” ensemble for the Air Jordan 1 Low is in the works.
