Though not quite the case today, New Balance once paid the 998 quite a bit of attention. And if you, like me, were a fan of the silhouette years ago, it’s likely you remember the simple yet clean “Pool Blue” make-up. Well, it seems said colorway is about to make a return very soon, albeit atop one of the footwear brand’s newer propositions: the 90/60.

Similar to its much older — and, arguably, better — counterpart, this 90/60 sports a light cool tone all throughout much of its construction. Suedes, mesh, and flat laces are all painted as such, contrasting the whites of the “N” logo and lining as well as the cream finishes of the midsole and leather trims overhead.

For a quick in-hand look at this latest 90/60, check out the leaked imagery below. At the time of writing this, a release date has not been revealed; it’s possible that these will hit shelves later this year, though, so sit tight.

In other news, the Yeezy Slide Resin is restocking very soon.
