The adidas 4DFWD may not be as popular as some of the brand’s BOOST-cushined silhouettes, but it delivers a forward-thinking design with proven performance benefits.
Recently, the partly-3D-printed sneaker emerged in a fall-ready “Magic Beige,” “Aluminium” and “Zero Metallic” mix of colors. PRIMEKNIT construction across the upper, which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic, takes on a light brown tone that sets the stage for the remainder of the arrangement. Accents at the top of the tongue and lateral heel opt for matte golden finishes, falling in line with other popular adidas shoes of the last five years. The sneaker’s 4D cushioning, however, delivers an off-white look that won’t seem too out-of-place during the autumn and winter. As an improvement from past adidas 4D options, the latest 4DFWD sneaker boasts a reworked Continental™ Rubber outsole.
