Sneaker News Jordan Brand soars into astronomy with the Jordan Exploration Unit, a new concept debuting with this newly revealed Air Jordan 1 Mid. Grabbing onto the classic mid-cut build of the AJ1, the Jordan design team has arranged a series of details that achieve the interstellar aesthetic.
A new circular logo appears on the tongue revealing the Jordan Exploration Unit notation above a Jumpman logo. Matching that medallion is a translucent blue synthetic on the ankle collar, revealed the WINGS logo beneath. The heel features JORDAN in a typeface akin to outer space travel, laid out in 3D fashion. Finally the upper panels mix in leather, suede, and perforated suede, all sitting above a translucent aqua blue rubber outsole.
This Air Jordan 1 Mid is currently available overseas; a US release is still undetermined, so stay tuned for updates.
